  • Monday May 19th 2008 FedEx Forum :Memphis, Tennessee--(Shortly after Battlezone)

Jason and Steven Talbot are in a dressing room along with their half brother Richard Cambridge and good friend The Truth. They are preparing their belonging so they can head to their respective homes for a welcome week off before the Nemesis Pay Per View on the 30th. Suddenly the door burst open and CJ Osborne still dressed in his wrestling attire storms in without waiting for a response. CJ beelines it toward Richard Cambridge. CJ grabs Richard by the collar of his suit jacket and shoves him against the wall so hard that the mirror behind him cracks and nearly shatters into a million pieces upon impact.

Listen here you little shit.” CJ's eyes are filled with anger and hatred. “If you ever pull that shit with me again I will break you in half.” No one in the room has made a move toward CJ. Partly because the suddenness of it all. Partly because Jason knows that CJ doesn't get this mad often and when he does he is unpredictable. “MY business isn't to be discussed in a public forum like that. You want to discuss business you call my office and make an appointment. Do you understand me?

Cambridge looks at CJ unflinching. “Get your damm hands of me CJ.”

CJ gets even more pissed at Richards statement. CJ shoves him even harder against the wall. “Do you understand me?

Truth attempts to step in and break things up However Jason holds him back, “This is something they have to settle on their own.” Truth stops and steps back.

Cambridge snarls in CJs face. “CJ I would strongly advise you to get your fucking hands off me now.”

You strongly advise me? I strongly advise you to never try this shit with me again. If you do so help me, I will make you wish you were dead.” CJ shoves Cambridge again before letting go.

Cambridge dusts himself off, “CJ, What the fuck man I came out there to make an offer to you and you give me this crap?”

MY personal business isn't to be discussed in the ring or in a public forum. You want to talk you call my office.”

Fine, but the offers on the table now.” Jason steps in and gets between the two and tries to calm them down.

Richard, I have already told you what I think about you doing this crap.” Jason turns to CJ. “I am sorry for this, Richard here likes to do things his way or no way.”

He keeps doing THIS his way, he's gonna get hurt. I'll talk to you later. I got stuff to take care of.” CJ turns and begins to head out of the room. As he pass The Truth begins to speak to CJ.

Man let this go, seriously, Anger turns to hate, hate turns to fighting and in fighting people get hurt, Richard meant no harm by this” In a sudden movement CJ decks Truth with a right hand.

For once do us all a favor and shut the fuck up.” CJ turns and heads out the door.

Truth goes down to the floor and Cambridge goes for CJ but he is held back by Jason and Steven who both know this could get ugly. “Calm the fuck down Ricky...”

Who the fuck does he think he is doing that...”

  • Saturday May 24th 2008 “Osborne Estates”: Jacksonville Florida -(After the Birthday Party is over)

CJ's birthday party ended approximately two hours ago. The only two people left in the house are CJ and Hope. The cleaning service that has been hired will not be at the house for another seven hours. The area where the party was held is quite a mess. There is a pile of nearly two hundred garbage bags in one corner. Those were bags that were changed out during the party, plus the trash that is scattered all over. All the left over food has been picked up by the homeless shelter and will be used to prepare food for the next day or two. Which the amount of food it will feed a lot of the homeless in the city of Jacksonville, which has one of the highest number of homeless people in it.

The same balcony CJ stood on at the beginning of the night holds CJ now. He is no longer dressed in the tuxedo he was once wearing, but a simple white t-shirt and a pair of blue plaid pajama pants. CJ is looking out at the dark sky. Hope comes up behind him wearing a blue silk robe and wraps her arms around her new finance. “And what are you doing?”

Just imagining you in a long white dress.” CJ smiles as he turns to face the woman he intends to marry. “You sure your ready for being with me fo the rest of your life?” CJ laughs as he tickles Hope's side.

Hope looks at CJ as if she hiding something. “Are you sure your ready?” She smiles as she moves closer to CJ. “You never know what might do now.”

CJ smirks as he kiss Hope. “I think I'll be ok.” CJ and Hope kiss again, but this time its a much more passionate kiss. As thing start to become a bit more heated between the two they are interrupted by a ringing. “What the hell” The phone that is ringing is a line that is connected directly to the guard station at his front gate. CJ answers it know that it must be important if the guard is calling him at this hour. “Hello” CJ's tone clearly says how annoyed he is by this disturbance.

Sir, you have a visitor”

With a look on complete confusion glances over at the clock to see the time. “Who the hell is coming to my house at 2:15 in the morning?”

Your ex-wife, Sir”

CJ hand put the phone on speaker so he could get a drink of water, and when he heard who it was he sit the water right back out of his month. “My What” CJ looks at Hope who is staring back at CJ with equal confusion. “What does she want?”

"She says its really important that she talks to you now.”

CJ doesn't want to deal with this, but it seems he has to. “Let her in.” CJ hangs the phone up and looks at Hope. “I'm sorry, I promise this will only take about ten minutes.”

Its ok” Hope gives CJ a reassuring look to let him know shes not mad. “Just take care of it. I'll be here when your done.”

CJ grabs a white robe and puts it on as he descends the stairs to the first floor. CJ goes to the kitchen and gets two bottles of water. As CJ opens the front door a white 1991 dodge spirit comes to a rather loud stop in front of the house. The white paint has peeled off the roof leaving nothing, but rust on top of the car. CJ's ex-wife Lori steps out of the car. The girl who was once a model has clearly given that up as she has gained twenty pounds, but she still attractive. He slowly walks up the step to the place she once called home. She looks up at him and smiles. “This place seems bigger than is used to be.”

The smile wasn't returned to her. CJ ignores her first comment and points to the car she drove up in. “Nice car.” He hands her a bottle of water. “What happened to the Porsche?”

Lori looks around for a second as she thinks of what happened to her favorite car. “Do you really care?”

No” CJ drinks some of his water, then looks back at his former wife. “What do you want? What is so important you felt the need to show up at my house at 2 in the morning?”

Can I come in?” Lori gives CJ a pleading look to allow her in the house.

CJ sighs and look sat her reluctantly and moves aside so she can go in. The two walk in the living room where CJ ends the silence. “Ok your inside now. What is it?”

Lori looks around almost as if she didn't want to be here. “I don't how to say this, so I'm gonna just say it. Shortly after our divorce I found out I was pregnant.”

At that moment time stood still. The next few seconds felt like en eternity to CJ, as his mind raced over the events of his failed marriage with Lori. CJ fumbles his way to the leather couch and sits as the room begins to spin. He runs puts his head in his hands and stares at the floor as he can't believe what Lori just told him...He can't believe her, why should he believe her. Shes never been honest with him. This could be a carefully crafted plan to get money from him. He look up as Lori and is now sitting on the opposite couch.

“And what makes you so sure it's mine? I mean that is why your here. You want me to claim the kid so I be your meal ticket again.” CJ gives Lori a ice cold glare, almost as is he doesn't care You slept with how many men in in the time period?”

You have every right to not believe me, but I have had blood test done and they are all clear. None of the other men are the fathers and I have DNA test to prove it.” Lori look walks farther into the living room and runs her hands across a piano. “Your the only possibility.”

Say I believe. Why now? Why are you telling me this almost two years later?” CJ runs his hand through his hair and looks at Lori. “Why didn't you tell me when you found out?”

This is the reaction Lori had expected from CJ and it seems like she had practiced this entire conversation. “I didn't think it was yours, plus you made it clear you wanted nothing to do with me anymore. I was certain she wasn't yours.”

CJ hears Lori say she. “So its a girl?”

Lori nods her head.“Yes”

Where is she now?” CJ looks around just noticing the baby isn't with her.

My parents have her” She looks down at the floor. “They actually made me drive over here to tell you. They said they wouldn't me with her if I didn't come over here right away and talk to you.”

CJ tries to wrap his head around this entire situation. “Do you have money for a hotel?”

A Hotel?” Lori seems surprised to hear CJ talk about a hotel. “Can't I just stay here?” Lori moves closer to CJ trying to be seductive. “It can be like old times.”

CJ pushes her off him. “No!”

Why not?” Lori is now in shock that he is rejecting her.

Because of me.” Both CJ and Lori look up at the stirs as Hope's voice is heard as she walks to where CJ stands. “Hi, I'm CJ's finance, Hope.”

Oh” Lori's jaw nearly hits the floor when she sees and hears Hope. “W..W..When didn't this happen?”

CJ is becoming annoyed with his ex. “Go stay at a hotel tonight.” CJ pulls his wallet out of his robe pocket. He had a feeling he might need it when he left his room. “Do not contact me in anyway for the next two days. Now Monday is a holiday sop we are gonna have to handle this on Tuesday. Have the girl and be at my office at ten Tuesday morning.” CJ pulls four one hundred dollar bills out of his wallet and hands then to Lori. “This should take care of you until then.”

Thanks” Lori takes the cash that has been handed to her. “I'll see you on Tuesday then.” Without another word Lori leaves the house.

CJ turns and hugs Hope. “I'm sorry”

Hope smiles and looks at CJ. “For what? Maybe having a daughter you didn't know about.” Hope brushes the entire thing off like it no big deal. “ Lets just go to bed and enjoy the next two days. Nothing we can do until Tuesday.”

CJ can't believe how calm she is being about this. He is quietly freaking out about the idea of being a dad. He has no idea how to raise a kid, especially when he is always on the go. One thing is for certain, the next few days should be very interesting.

  • Wednesday May 28th 2008 “Osborne Enterprises” : Jacksonville Florida.

It has now been three days since CJ's ex wife came racing back into his life with this story about her daughter being his daughter as well. The last four days have been a roller coaster ride of emotions for CJ. From the huge birthday party to his engagement to finding out he has a daughter, or might have one at least. He tried to enjoy the memorial day weekend, but no matter what he did his mind drifted back to the situation with his ex wife.

He tried to enjoy how happy Hope was, but his mind drifted back. He tried to focus on his upcoming match. A match that could be his biggest yet. A match against an opponent who could be his hardest to beat. A match that could be more brutal than any match he has ever been in, but it didn't matter to him at that time. Personal glory and achievement meant nothing compared to what he was looking at right now. It meant nothing to the little girl who sat on the leather couch in front of him right now.

CJ, Hope, Lori, and the little girl who's name is McKenzie. Hope has pretty much taken charge of occupying the little one as CJ and Lori wait for a phone call from the doctor that handled the blood test that CJ had done yesterday. Normal results would take a minimum of a week to get back , but with CJ's contacts and rather large donation he was able to get this pushed to the front of the line and rushed. The two sit in silence, the only noise is the laughter of the young girl who seems to be enjoying her self. The silence is riped open with the sound of a ringing phone. CJ stands and answer the phone on his desk.

CJ's heart is pounding like never before. When this entire ordeal started he had wished the child wasn't his. He knew that there was so much going on and this kid would cause problems for his plans. However when he first saw the little girl he knew she was his. He knew that he was in fact the father of that baby, and he was thrilled when the doctor confirmed this with him. CJ walked over to where Hope and McKenzie were and for the first time he held his little girl, at this time he felt such a sense of pride that he help make sure a beautiful child. He never wanted this feeling to go away. He knew no matter what he accomplishes in the ring or in the board room, that what he was holding would always be his greatest accomplishment.

For what seemed like hours he played and played with her there in his office. As much as he wanted to take her home with him he knew he had to get ready to leave for Atlanta. Now that he had knew the deal, he knew he had to focus on the task at hand. Defending and retaining the championship he worked so hard to get.A title that he will defend with everything he has. A title that will leave Atlanta on the same shoulder it rode in on.

Are you ready?” Hope's question rips CJ from his thoughts.

CJ was looking out the window of his jet. When he hears Hop he look to her and smiles. “I'm ready as I'll ever be.”

Hope scoots closer to CJ. “You thinking about your match?”

Trying to,” CJ looks back out the window. “But I keep going back to what I left behind.”

She is something else.” Hope is intrigued by what she has seen from CJ the last few days. This far from his usual self. She is even getting worried, because he might not be focused on the task in front of him. “I know all this was thrown on you and your still getting used to the idea, because I am to, but I think you need to try to focus on what you need to do Friday night.”

I know I do” CJ is clearly torn between were he has to be for his professional career and where he wants to be for his personal life. “I wish I could, but all I can think of is how different things are gonna be. We are gonna have to baby proof everything.”

Hope laughs at the idea of them baby proofing the entire mansion. She grabs CJ's hand and looks deeply into his eyes. “I love you.”

Something about hearing those words causes CJ's mind to slow down so he could think. “What would I do with out you?”

Hope loves how important CJ makes her feel. “You would probably spontaneously combust from trying to do everything yourself.” Hope leans in and snuggles up to her finance. “You just need to relax, and let me worry about getting the house ready. I'll make some calls and the house will be done by the time we get home.” She looks into CJ's eyes again. “You need to focus on one thing right now. Let me handle the rest.”

Ok, I love you” CJ looks out the window again as he begins to pounder his match is just two days. A match in all honestly has has done zero preparation for thus far. He had set the entire week aside to make sure he was prepared for the match. Not because he needs to know Josh Johnson better, because this is CJ's third match against Josh in four weeks. This is what you may call the rubber match between the two. Josh Johnson won the first match, granted he never pinned CJ. He pinned the third participant in that match, Nightmare. CJ of course won the second match.

It was then that Josh showed how much of a sore loser he is. Josh showed he can't handle losing even if it is to a man who far smarter than him. CJ is man enough to admit that he didn't out “wrestle” Josh, but he outsmarted Josh. That doesn't mean CJ isn't a better wrestler than Josh, but it means on that night CJ showed Josh it takes more than talent to win. At Nemesis Josh and CJ will face off in a Last Man Standing match. Which to be honest is as much as about traditional wrestling as Kent Baxter is. A last man standing match is about heart and passion. Its about having the heart and determination to will yourself to your feet, even after you have been beat with objects that aren't mean to be used as weapons.

  • Wednesday May 28th 2008 CJ's Hotel Room : Atlanta Georgia

Things at the Crow Plaza resort on the northwestern perimeter of Atlanta has died down at the late hour. There are a few cars passing by on the street, but for the most part is just a quite night for the staff, which is welcome considering the big event happening this weekend. When places like MWA come to towns for event like Nemesis people tend to act a little crazy. Maybe they are just trying to get attention, maybe they are just stupid. Who really knows?

The hotel suite is completely dark minus the a small table lamp in the corner where CJ sits at his laptop. Due to the events of this past week CJ has neglected to write his weekly blog which is something he has grown to enjoy doing. CJ likes the ability to get his thoughts out without being hassled for one more quote. He doesn't have to worry with those personal questions that he doesn't want to answer. CJ takes a sip of his water bottle and goes to typing.

Dream Big with Determination and Dedication. The world is all yours.” I have no idea who said that, but its a quote that I feel is relevant to my match this week. The Bloodlust title is the lowest title on the totem pole, but its a title I will put every fiber in my being into defending. I would be lying if I said I didn't want more, but who doesn't want more? I would love to be main eventing and competing for the richest prize, but that will come, because of my determination.

Josh Johnson is quite frankly one of the best wrestlers I have ever been in the ring with, yes you read right he is one of the best. I am not afraid to admit that, because its simply the truth. The thing I question isn't his talent, but his drive. What drives Josh to do this? Is it that unsatisfiable urge to get better and better? Is it the hunger of glory? Is it the sheer determination and will to be successful? Is it just a hunger for blood? Is it the thirst for some sort of revenge?

CJ stops typing and stares at the scene for a moment as he pounders the words he just wrote. His mind can't help, but wander away from what he is suppose to be doing and on the the earlier events of the week. CJ smiles as he thinks of how awesome things could be, which is a stark contrast from the he felt when he first heard about it. CJ looks over at his future wife who is fast asleep as the hours has approached in to early Thursday morning. Its his love for her that reminds him why to does this.

In all honesty I have no idea just what drives Josh Johnson to get in the ring every week. Only one person can answer that, and its not me. I can however tell you why I get in the ring. Why I go out and put my body on the line, when I don't have to. When I can sit on my board room and make billions of dollars for the rest of my life. I swear I have said it a million times, but its simply the love of the sport. I work my ass off every week so I can walk through the curtains, because I love it.

Its my determination that allows me go to the ring and out forth the greatest effort I could ever give every week. Its my unsatisfiable urge to get better that allows me to pick myself up and go on after a hard lose. Its hunger for glory that allows me to train every week. Its my sheer determination and will that allows me to drag myself out of a puddle of my own blood and push myself farther and harder than I ever have had to go before each and every time I fall.

That is why I do what I do. As far as Josh is concerned I know he will throw everything he has at me to try and reclaim the title. I hope he realizes that I will do the same. I may be looking for bigger things in the future, but if anyone wants this title they are going to have to fight me to hell and back to get it. I'm not saying I can't lose, because if I may borrow a line from the MWA World Champion, “On any given night anyone can beat anyone”. I might lose, but it will not be from a lack of effort or a lack of desire.

CJ stops typing and re reads the entire blog. He thinks carefully over each word he has used to describe how he feels about the sport or wrestling and his upcoming match against Josh Johnson. CJ moves the mouse to the submit button, but before he can click stops and thinks just for a short moment.

Win or lose one thing can be certain, I am living my dream and I love every minute of it.
