2008: Nemesis 08 (Directly after Last Man Standing Match)
From the moment
CJ leap off the ladder time seems fo slow to nearly a stand still as he descends downward. The crowd is at a stand still and
a hush has fallen over everyone as CJ flying through the air toward the man on the table below. CJ can see fans in the crowd
mouthing words of shock. CJ's elbow extends out as he inches ever so close to his target. He can hear the faint sound of Poe,
Broadway, and Baxter arguing amongst themselves.
It happens CJ's big elbow connects with Josh Johnson and the table underneath Josh
explodes as CJ drives Josh farther down to the hard floor below. Pedro Diaz begins his count as both Josh and CJ are laid
out on the arena floor.
1.....2.....3.What is that counting?.4.Oh
shit I need to get up.5.Shit that hurts.6.Grab
the ring apron, there you go.7.Fuck this hurts.8.Don't stop your almost there.9.Yes
I'm up.10.
Time is still in slow motion as he watches
Pedro call for the bell. CJ looks down at Josh who hasn't moved an inch. Before he knows it Pedro is by his side handing him
his championship belt. CJ looks down the ramp and sees a medical crew pushing a stretcher to the ring. CJ's knees feel weightless
as he crumbles to he group. Everyone sees CJ pass out and a call for a second Medical crew to make there way to the ring.
Hope Marie rushes down to ringside as a unconscious CJ is loaded very carefully on a stretcher. A very concerned Hope goes
along side of CJ as he is ushered out of the arena to a waiting ambulance.

Saturday May 31st 2008: Northside Atlanta
Hospital
CJ
should have spent the night in celebration of his successful defense of his Bloodlust Championship over Josh Johnson. Instead
he has spent the night in a hospital bed recovering from his match. In actuality CJ has been out cold since he passed out
after his match. During CJ's match he started to cough up blood. That caused great concern that there were internal injuries
that could be very harmful should they not be treated right away.
Late in the night CJ begins to come to. CJ groans in pain as he
opens his eyes ever so slowly. After being in a last man standing match every inch of his body feels pain. Of course the twenty
foot leap off a ladder through a table didn't help the pain that was coursing through his body. CJ looks to his left and sees
his beautiful finance watching his every move with great interest. CJ looks at Hope and smiles. “Some
Celebration party.” CJ griminess as he tries
to push himself up on the bed. “What did the doctors say?”
Hope stand from her chair and walks toward CJ. Hopes black dress
sways as she walks. “You have a cracked rib.” Hope stops at CJ's side and looks down at CJ.
“Combine that with the amount of blood you
lost, and you have been order to take at least a week off.” CJ rolls his eyes, “We already have an appointment next Monday to have you checked out by your
doctor. He will decide if you have to take a second week off.”
CJ becomes agitated at being told when he can and can't go back
to wrestling. “Isn't that up to me?”
“Actually
its not.” Hope
doesn't like CJ's attitude one bit and she let him know it. “You
will not be booked if your not medically cleared, and you will not be cleared if your not ready.”
CJ looks a bit shocked at Hope's reaction. “Fine, I just want to get back so I can get back to the office.” CJ rolls his eyes in annoyance. “I got enough work at the office to keep myself busy.”
Hope rolls her eyes again. “Why do you do this?”
“Do what?”
Hope throws her hands up in frustration. “Why
do you try to do everything yourself? That is part of the reason you are here. Because your body in so exhausted. Being a
professional Wrestler and the CEO of a major corporation are stressful and time consuming on there own and you are doing both.
Your twenty three years old and you have more stress in your life than most people in their entire lives.”
CJ's frustration matches Hopes. “So
what would you have me do? You want me to quit Wrestling? Maybe I should just sell the company and call it a day. Is that
what you want?”
Hope stares at CJ in shock. That was the first time CJ had ever
raised his voice to her. “No you stubborn fool. Thats not what I want.” Hope runs her hands through her hair. “I want you to
let some power go. You have people in place who are more than capable to run the business for you. I want you to stop worrying
so much about trying to help those who don't give a damn about you. You want people to like you so much, but what I don't
understand is why. I mean you selflessly offered your help to Steve Pinex and he threw it right back in your face. What makes
him so god damn special?”
Hope begins to paces back and forth as he continues her rant. “You tried to help him find a peaceful solution to his issue and he insulted you then went off and got the poor
woman killed. The man has a major anger issue and for the life of me I'll never understand why people think what he says is
so special. What does his respect mean? Why does everyone want his fucking respect?” CJ opens his moth to speak, but is cut off by Hope who hasn't finished yet. “You tried again to help Rick Young, but he said no. If
he wasn't such a womanizer he wouldn't have this problem....And don't even get me started on that bitter bitch, Kacy Knight.”
Hope stops paces and look at CJ as if she is signifying she is
done with her rant. Silence falls on the room for several moments until CJ motions for Hope to come closer. “Come
here” Hope to CJ's side as he reaches out and grabs her hand. “I'm
sorry, I had no idea this was so important to you.”
“I just
don't want my future husband to have a heart attack when hes thirty.” It seems Hope calmed down when CJ surprised her and didn't
go on the offensive. “I just want you to relax and try to let
up a little.”
CJ look at Hope in a understanding manner. “I
promise I'll slow it down.”

Wednesday June 4th 2008: “Osborne Estates”
Nestled in the middle of the forty acres that
make up 'Osborne Estates' is a mansion made of white stone. The four story home that is owned by the billionaire who not only
is the Owner and CEO of one of the largest cooperations in the world, but also is the MWA Bloodlust Champion. In front of
the house is a fountain made of the same brink that lines the outer walls on the mansion. A paved driveway circles the fountain
and parked in that driveway is a black hummer H-1.
Outside the back of this house is a Olympic
sized swimming pool that many in the MWA would recognize because of the party that CJ held to celebrate his twenty third birthday.
There are four lounge chairs next to one another over in a shaded area of the pool deck. One of said chairs are occupied by
the man who owns it all, CJ Osborne. He is relaxing and resting the injuries he received at Nemesis.
Out of nowhere the man who goes by Gabriel and is the acting head
of security for CJ takes a seat next to CJ. “Here is all the information you requested.” Gabriel hands CJ a manila envelope that contains several pictures,
and papers.
CJ flips through the papers and smiles. “I see she has nearly blown then entire settlement she got from the divorce.”
CJ look as at a few more sheets of paper, before
speaking again. “She hasn't worked at all since the divorce.” CJ smiles again as he he continues to flip through the papers. “It
might be easier than I though to get custody.”
“I hand delivered
the paper work like you asked yesterday morning.” The butler brings a couple glasses of fresh lemonade out to the two men. Gabriel
doesn't think twice as he takes a sip from his glass. “I got a
call this morning from the guy in the court house. He pulled some strings and got the hearing set for a week from tomorrow.”
CJ nods as he to partakes in the refreshing beverage that was
delivered to them just moments ago. “Good,
the sooner I get this done the sooner I can have my daughter.” CJ's face turns to a scowl as he thinks about his ex-wife. “That woman stole a year of my daughters life from me and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let
her disappear with her again.” CJ looks over the pictures of his ex. “Look at her. What
kind of mother is she going to be? What kind of life could she provide?”
Gabriel just shrugs. “So how long you going to be out?”
“I'm not
quite sure yet. I hope not to long.” Both men drink more lemonade. CJ griminess as he pushes himself up in the chair. “Knowing Thomas Craig he'll try to strip me if I'm out to long. I'm sure
he would love the chance to stick it to me for walking out on him and band of losers.”
Its no secret that Thomas Craig was upset with CJ after CJ decided
to turn his life around and fight against the Dark Circle
as apposed to with them. “What happened to the
Dark Circle?” The rest
of the world is most lily wondering the same thing that Gabriel just asked. It seems like ever member of the Dark Circle has gone into hiding since Nemesis. The lone appearance has been that of
the man who was suppose to replace CJ in the group, Sean Summers. That one match went about as well as Summers attempt to
replace CJ as the one true up and coming star in the group.
“Who knows
really, but I have more important issues at hand to deal with. I have to make sure Hope doesn't freak when I tell her about
the custody suit.” CJ can clearly see the confused look on Gabriel's
face. CJ knows he thinking why would Hope be mad? “She wants
me to do noting but sit around the house and rest until I'm cleared medically, but this I have to do ASAP.”
“No need to explain
it to me, but I think Hope might take it better than you think. She's been so cool about everything else so far.”
CJ nods, “Maybe your right. She has been great
during all this. Its made it so much easier on me knowing that this isn't going to affect her and I.”
Gabriel stands after he finishes off his glass of lemonade. “ I got to get going. I have a meeting with Mike in an hour. He's got some information on the Talbot investigation.”
The man Gabriel speaks of is Mike Kinchen. Mike is
a ex-CIA agent who know work for CJ as his private investigator.
“Great,
make sure to let me know whats going on with that.” CJ is very
happy to hear there is a break in the investigation into the situation with his friend's stalker. CJ finally has someone he
feels he can trust in the wrestling business and hes going make sure he's taken care of.

Wednesday June 18th 2008: Duval County Courthouse
(Jacksonville, Florida)
The trial to decide who gets custody of McKenzie
Ann Osborne started on June 13th 2008 and after nearly a week of opening statements, witness testimonies, cross
examinations, abjections, and recess its come down to the closing statements by both parties. Lori's lawyer did the best he
could, but with so little time to prepare and the the fact that CJ's law firm is arguably the biggest firm in the country
is was quite over matched from the beginning.
As her lawyer takes his seat the man who is the head of CJ's law
firm and just so happens to be his Uncle stands approaches the judge. “For the last week we have done our best
to paint the former Mrs, Osborne as a woman unfit to raise a child. Of course she has done her best to do the same for my
client. The truth of the matter is neither one is bad parent. I am sure both of these people would make great parents, but
it just so happens that they can't stand each other and they have a child together.”
Jim Osborne begins to walk to his left and once he reaches the
end of the room he turns and begin to talk again. “Its
been said that Mr, Osborne would is an unfit father because of his chosen profession. If that is true then every single wrestler
in the world needs to have there children removed from them.” Jim pauses for a moment as he has made it
back to the middle of the room for a second time.
“The facts
our he could not earn another penny for the rest of his life and he would still be able to support his future wife and his
daughter with little to no change in lifestyle. As I said before I don't doubt Mrs Gressler's parenting ability, but what
kind of life can she provide for this child.” Jim stops at his table and picks up several sheets of paper. “As we have shown already she has blown nearly the entire divorce settlement in a little under
two years time. She also hasn't held a single job in that time, and by her own addition she has little to no skills to get
a decent job.”
Jim puts the papers back and turns to face Lori. “Lets not forget the fact that we discovered the real reason
for her telling CJ about his daughter. Its wasn't because she felt bad for keeping her from him all this time. It was because
shes broke, and she thought he would just hand her the money she needed to care for the child. Which is true, but Mr, Osborne
fears that if he simple wrote her a check she would disappear again with his daughter.”
Jim looks back at the judge as he begins to finish his statement. “The best interest of this child could only be served by awarding my client sole custody of his daughter. Before
we started this Mr, Osborne made Ms, Gressler an offer to allow her visitation rights and he even offered assistance in finding
her work. Despite the fact that she refused to sign the deal that would have negated any reason to have this trail he still
plans on honoring the deal he made if the custody his given to him as it should be.” Jim takes his
seat to signify he is done.
After a few moments of silence the judge looks up at the parents of the child and their respective legal teams. “It pains me when I see two people such as yourselves who can't put your personal differences aside for the greater
good of the child, because the child is innocent and in all reality needs both her parents.” The judge
again sits in silence for a few moments before looking up again. “Nonetheless I must award one of you
custody, and after hearing and reviewing the facts this last week I feel the child's interest would be best served with her
father.” CJ smiles as Lori begins to tear up.
The judge looks toward CJ and his legal team. “Mr,
Osborne I trust that you will see to it that you do as you promised to as soon as possible.”
CJ smiles as he nods his head, “Yes
your honor, The moment I return from St Louis I'll make sure
everything is taken care off. I want Mackenzie's to have her mother involved in her life, no matter how I feel about her.”
“Good,” The judge now looks to
The weaping Lori and her team. “I suggest you take him up on
his offer. You heard him yourself. Make this work and you can still be their for your daughter.” The Judge goes to slam the gavel down, but stops before it connects with the podium. “Where is the child now?
Lori looks up at the judge. “She is at my parents house.”
The judge nods. “Can I trust you two
to make arrangements yourselves on the transfer of the child?” Both CJ and Lori agree to work that detail
out themselves. The judge nods and slams the gavel down causing a loud boom with it connects with the podium. “Court Dismissed”

June 21st 2008: Scottrade Center
(St Louis, Missouri)
Just a few days before the fans of St Louis and the surrounding areas pack Scottrade Center MWA official
are constructing the Battlezone ring. Sitting alone in the nose bleed section of the arena is the MWA Bloodlust Champion,
CJ Osborne. CJ is looking very pedestrian today, by his standards anyway. He has on a pair on blank jeans with a pair of boots
to match. His shirt is a red striped button up shirt that he has neglected to tuck in. His blonde hair has been spiked in
the front with the rest brushed flat.
The Bloodlust championship belt is draped over his shoulder. CJ's
hands are locked together behind his head with his right foot propped up against the seat in front of him. When CJ moves his
hands back down to his side you can see he is sporting a silver watch with a blue interior. “You never know just how much you love something till you have it ripped from
your grasp. My opponent this week knows that all to well.” CJ brings his right hand up and scratches
just above his eyebrow.
“Many months
ago Jason Wright retired from the sport he loved so much to be there for his pregnant girlfriend. A very Nobel and respectable
reason to step away by anyone's standards.” CJ stops for a few moments at he picks his words carefully. “However like most athletes, he got the bug and just had to come back.” CJ again stops and considers everything before saying it. “I'm sure Jason would like everyone to believe that he hasn't been in a wrestling ring since he
walked away from the MWA all those months ago, but I know for a fact that Jason was at lest one show for some hole in the
wall. Which led to his arrest and our good friend bailing him out. The only reason I even know about this is because Jason
Talbot used a 'Osborne Enterprises' check.”
CJ stops and rubs his chin before speaking. ”It
doesn't matter to me. I sold ten percent to Jason Talbot and he was well in his right to give you that money. However you
must have imagined my surprise when I heard about it from the accountant.” CJ smiles as he laughs
to himself. “I mean Jason Wright has always had this holier than thou attitude about him. Its also
no secret that Jason has been very outspoken against me. I find it ironic that indirectly I bailed him out of jail.” CJ adjust the belt on his shoulder as he looks around the empty arena.
“In just
a few days Jason Wright will get his shot at a title that many in the MWA consider to be worthless, but I gave a whole lot
of my blood, sweat and tears to not only win this title for the second time, but to keep it Nemesis. Jason Wright might be
hyped up because he is going to be fighting in his hometown, but this is also my first match back since my injury at Nemesis.” CJ hold his ribs as he
shifts his wait. Despite the fact the he has been medically cleared to be compete he is still in pain from the cracked rib
he suffered at the hands of Josh Johnson. “I'm not going to
lie it does bother me that I am facing Jason Wright. He has been out of the MWA for close to nine months and his first match
back is for a title.”
CJ shakes his head in disbelief. “I
guess it shouldn't surprise me with the booking committee giving Chris Pressler with his two and four record a world title
shot.” CJ is starting to think the MWA booking
committee has lost their minds after he saw the card this week. Its not that CJ doesn't believe Jason Wright is untalented,
but the honest true is since he lost the United States Championship in XPWA to Kacy Knight several years ago his career has
been on a downward spiral.
CJ and Jason never had any dealing in GWE or MWA. Both times Jason
left shortly after CJ arrived or rearriived in the case of MWA. CJ knows very little about him, but what he does know bores
him to death. Jason Wright might be the one guy who is more boring than Allen Saunders. Of course the recent arrest from a
bar fight does help his cause. “I expect to
hear more boos than I usually get, because of the home town hero. He more like a hometown zero is you ask me.” CJ looks at the camera as he is no longer speaking about Jason
Wright, he he is speaking to Jason Wright. “Jason you have never had any real success your entire life.
What makes you think this time is going to be any different?”
“Jason
do you really think your going to keep able to keep you with me? Its been what? Nine months since you have been in a real
match with real talent.” CJ stands and slowly begins making his way down the steps. “I know you watched Nemesis. You saw how brutal and violent that match was. Most men wouldn't have pushed themselves
to continue, but I did. The question I have is will you?” CJ
looks at the title belt on his shoulder and pats it. “Do you
remember what kind of title this is? When the match spills over to the bloody violent side will you have the desire to continue?”
“When you
can barely see because your own blood has blurred your vision, will you push yourself to stand one more time? When you body
hurts all over from the beating you have received will you have the determination to push yourself past your breaking point?” CJ has reached the bottom
where the crew is about to finish up the ring. “This title is
mine and I don't plan on it leaving my shoulder anytime soon. I have worked to damn hard to get this title to lose it to you....How
long is your return going to last time time Jason? Two month, maybe three. Jason you haven't been able to commit yourself
to anything in years. Hell, you can't even commit yourself to the person you say you love.”
“Is it
impossible for you Jason Wright to beat me, not its not. However I can assure you one thing for certain. Jason you will be
in for the fight of your life, and given what I do know about you. Your going to fold under the pressure just like you always
do.” CJ shakes his head almost in disgust. “This business is about defining the odds and when the pressure is on going out and kicking
ass. The pressure is on and love this pressure, you however fear it. For that reason alone you have already lost this match.

June 21st 2008: CJ's hotel Suite (St Louis, Missouri)
The room is pretty much completely
dark minus the glow being emitted from the HP pavilion laptop sitting on the table in front of CJ.
Its been two long since I stepped in a MWA
ring. However I have finally been cleared to compete and I am ready to fight with my life...Ok so I'm being a bit dramatic,
but who cares really? As much as I hated just sitting around my mansion with nothing to do, it truly was a blessing. I was
take care of the custody issue over my Daughter, McKenzie Ann Osborne. For those of you who have been living under a rock
and don't watch the news I recently found out I had a daughter that is justly over a year old.
CJ looks over
his shoulder at his beautiful daughter snuggled up to Hope as they sleep. They are oblivious to the fact the CJ is still awake
and typing on his laptop. He smiles as he think of the wonderful memories he has already manged to make and the ones to come
with his new daughter.
I never thought I would
take to being a Father so well, but it has been a wonderful experience sop far and I can't wait for it to continue. She is
by far the greatest thing to ever happen to me, but I'm sure your not reading this to hear about that? Or maybe you are, who
really knows? Maybe I should set up a e-mil for my readers to send my hundred or e-mails. If I even have a hundred readers.
CJ has always
wondered just how many people read his blogs. It must be a decent amount for the MWA to still have them on the official site.
He still finds it weird that people even care what he has to say after the stunts he has pulled in the past, but maybe people
are starting to come around. That is something CJ just can't help, but smile about.
At the start of the week I was told that Nightmare would receive
his one millionth shot at winning my title. MY first thought was the guy couldn't beat Josh Johnson. So how does he think
he can beat me. I mean not only did I beat Josh for my title, but I beat his two weeks in a row, with one of which being a
brutal Last Man Standing Match. So I was very confident I would walk away still the champion. However things changed.
Now St Louis's
own, Jason Wright is making his grant return to the MWA....Ok so I'm being over dramatic again, but you get the point. There's
not much I can really say about Jason that I didn't say already in the promo the the MWA made me shoot earlier in the today.
Jason Wright was a good wrestler back in his prime, but his prime is long gone. I will say Jason Wright is one of the few
true wrestlers still out there. His knowledge of technical wrestling is masterful, or was at one time.
However this match isn't going to be about pure wrestling.
Its going to be about who can beat the the hell out of each other the best. Jason is out of his element and his return to
the wrestling however ever long it is before he quits again is going to have a very painful beginning in his hometown. No
disrespect is meant by my word, but it is the true.
After a
quick proof read CJ hovers the mouse over the submit button and clicks. The click of the mouse signals that the time for talking
about this match has ended and the time to fight is upon us. From this point on CJ's main focus is on his upcoming title defense.
He made history when he won the title by being the only two time Bloodlust champion, and know he's aims his sights at things
ahead and Jason Wright is standing in his way. Like Josh Johnson before him, he will fall and he'll fall hard.
