·         Saturday July 12th, 2008: Generation Next

After a stiff kick to the head Jason Talbot has fallen from the cable he was holding to. As CJ slipped from the cable he is able to pull the Millennium Championship belt down him, thus claiming the victory for himself. One the bell rings 'Rebirth' by Skillet blares over the P.A. System as CJ clutches the title to his chest. CJ moves to his feet and looks down at the title belt in his hands. In one sudden movement CJ thrust his arm up in the air with the title belt which causes a good sized pop with the crowd.

CJ spies Jason Talbot leaning on the ropes in the corner of the ring. After throwing the belt over his shoulder CJ turns and locks eyes with his close friend. Both men walk toward one another. The crowd quiets down as the two are standing in the middle of the ring. Jason breaks the tension with a smile as he extends his hand. CJ returns the smile as he accepts the hand shake. Jason pulls CJs hand high in the air as the crowd pops once again. CJ looks around the ring for both Singer and Gowan, but it seems they had already left the ring side area.

CJ just shrugs his shoulder and celebrates in the ring for a few more moments, before he follows the lead of his friend. Jason had already left the ring area, by the time CJ had hopped out of the ring. CJ slapped a few hands as he moved down the aisle. When CJ ducked behind the curtain that leads backstage he is meet by Hope who runs and hugs CJ in excitement of his win. “Congratulations,” Hope who is in a blue dress that hugs every curve of her body. “I knew you could do it.”

CJ just leans down to kiss his finance. The two head back to their dressing room. As they walk CJ's mind begins to race as he considers the fact that this is the defining moment in his wrestling career. A major title in the greatest wrestling organization in the world. This win opens a whole new set of doors for CJ to go through. A whole new set of challenges for him to face. Will this win hurt his friendship with Jason Talbot? Who is going to stand in his way and the five successful title defenses he needs to get a shot at the World Championship? CJ's mind is ripped from his deep thought when Earl Bickelsbottoms appears from around a corner as CJ and Hope are about to enter his dressing room.

Congratulations, Champ!” Earl offers his hand, which CJ gladly accepts. “You ready for whats coming next?”

CJ smiles as he shakes Earls hand. “I've never been more ready for whats to come.” CJ looks at the gold belt resting on his shoulder before look back at Earl. “This belt isn't going anywhere anytime soon.” CJ pats Earl on the back before he disappears in his dressing room.

·         Tuesday July 15th, 2008: Los Angels

CJ and Hope have an appointment with a real estate agent in Los Angels, California. Among the many many changes CJ is makin in his life one one is moving out of the overly large mansion and to someplace new. With Hope being from the area and CJ has always enjoined his visit there, so it seemed logical for that to be the place to look to move to first. After a few weeks of research with the finest real estate agent he could find, they finally found a place they really liked. Compared to a normal house it was big, but comparing it to the mansion they lived in before it was good bit smaller.

After extensive tour of the two story, four bedroom, and three and a half bath house. CJ and Hope are currently sitting alone at the kitchen counter as they talk things over with the house. “What do think?”

Hope looks around the room before looking back to CJ.”Its a nice place.” She smiles, “It would need a little remodeling, but over all its good.”

CJ smiles and shakes his head. “Just a little?” CJ stands and wonders over to the bay window that overlooks a nice view of a lake behind the house. The lake is the center to several houses that all have docks. CJ's mind begins to move away from the house to his match this week. The very first Millennium Championship title defense. The first in what CJ hopes to be a very long run. This week CJ faces off once again against Larry Gowan. This will be the third match in a row that CJ and Larry have been across the ring with. CJ can't help but be reminded of the series of matches he had with Josh Johnson. Josh had won the first match like Larry, but CJ rebounded with the title win the second tile around and followed that up with a title defense. So far everything has followed the same way, this week is the rubber match between the two.

The first match, which was the win for Larry Gowan was a simple mistake on CJ's part. CJ allowed himself to get to cocky and underestimated what Larry could do. A mistake that CJ made sure he wouldn't do a second time. Doing so allowed CJ to come out victories and claim the MWA Millennium Championship. Now for a third time in a row CJ must face Larry Gowan in a match. This time like the first is a one on one match for CJ's championship. Unlike the first match there is a lot more on the line. One would be a more prestiges championship, and the second thing would be A win for CJ puts CJ one more win closer to the coveted title shot against the MWA World Champion, who ever that may be at the time.

Kacy!! CJ may have seen something to make him think over her, or maybe it was simple thinking of the MWA World title which should still be around her waist and now is the top contender for. Nonetheless his mind is no longer on the match that he has coming up, but on his former friend. CJ knows how Kacy feels about him right now, and he fully plans on fulling his promise to not bother her anymore. However the feeling he has have resurfaced. Feeling that have left CJ confused as to what he should do, because he does love his finance. Its not a matter of can he make things with Kacy work, because the likely hood of that happening is like a zillion to one.

He knows the smartest thing for him to do would be to forget about Kacy and focus on his new life with Hope, but something prevents CJ from doing so. SO much of CJ want to fly to Minnesota and reach out to be there for Kacy in her time of need. A bomb that was probably meant to kill her ended up killing her brother, and nearly killing Lien. She's never been Lien's biggest fan, but he knows just what he means to Kacy. Nonetheless CJ really wants to be there not only for Kacy, but for her younger brother Jack. CJ took care of Jack when she had amnesia a few years back and the two formed a friendship. Of course CJ doesn't know just how Jack feels about CJ now, but it doesn't really matter because CJ can't really do anything about it.

CJ's mind had wandered so far to his match and other things that he had forgot Hope was talking to him, but he was reminded when Hope smacks him in the back of the head. He gives her a look that says what the fuck was that? “You just going to ignore me? I was asking you a question.”

CJ relaxes as he just shrugs to Hope. “Sorry, I was thinking about my match this week.” The wasn't an entire lie, but CJ knows it best t not reveal the rest of his thoughts to Hope. CJ turns and heads toward the door leading to another room, before he leaves he looks back to Hope. “I'm going to go talk to the Realtor and make an offer.”

CJ leaves Hope in the kitchen alone as he talks to the Realtor. The time alone allows Hope to think about things. She has noticed a change in CJ since the argument CJ and Kacy had a few weeks back. Shes not sure what it was, but he has been very distant. Normally she would have written it off as him being focused on his match and business, but with no business stuff to handle and hes become very relaxed up to that point about letting wrestling take up to much time with his family stuff. Since being awarded custody of his child he has made sure to spend no less than two hours a day with her being the main focus. However since then argument even that time has been weird for CJ.

Hope isn't sure what is going on in his head, but she knows it has something to do with Kacy Knight. Her biggest fear is that there is something still there between he two. CJ did admit in front of a live crowd that he was in Love with Kacy at one time, and with his strong desire to fix his relationship with Kacy its reasonable for Hope to suspect theres more than friends there. Hope knows CJ loves her, but she has begun to wonder just how much he loves her. She just hopes they can figure this out before it to late for them.

·         Friday July 18th, 2008: 'Osborne Enterprises”--Baton Rouge Office

CJ might not be the acting chief Executive Officer of 'Osborne Enterprises' anymore, but he is still the majority share holder. That being said he still has access to all the company privileges that are available at all his offices around the world. CJ made sure every office had a world class gym and training facility put into his office buildings. Part of the reason is so when he travels he can still have a private place to train. After his daily workout CJ showered and redressed in a silk blue shirt and pair of khakis.

Waiting for him in the lobby of the building is MWA interviewer, Beth. She is dressed very professionally in a cream colored business suit. The very beautiful young woman stands and smiles as CJ enter the lobby and walks up to her. They exchange pleasantries and CJ leads her to a mid sized conference room. A small TV crew enters the room behind them and quickly begin to set up their equipment. CJ jumps up and leaves the room to grab a few drinks. Beth pulls a note pad and a small digital voice recorder.

CJ returns with two ice cold cokes. After handing one to Beth, he takes a seat in front of Beth. She nod to the camera man who signals that the camera is rolling . Almost instantaneously she snaps in to interviewer mode. “I'm here today with the newest MWA Millennium Champion, CJ Osborne.” Beth smiles into the camera before turning to CJ, who now has his championship belt place on the table in front of him. “Thanks for talking with me today.”

CJ takes a sip of his cokes and smiles. “No problem”

Beth looks down to her note pad for a second before returning her gaze to CJ. “Hows does it feel to be the newest MWA Millennium Champion?”

Winning this title was the biggest moment in my short career so far. I fully plan on achieving bigger and better things, but for now I'm going to enjoy my recent success.” CJ runs his hand over the gold face of the belt, before he looks back to the camera. “Five title defenses and a World Title shot, right?” CJ flashes a bright smile.

Beth returns the smiles as she ask her next question. “I know you were asked this like a million times leading up to the match, but now thats its in the past. How do you feel it will affect your friendship with Jason Talbot?”

Without a moments hesitation CJ looks in the camera. “For the one millionth time, No. Jason and I professionals and we both understand that we will do what we have to to win, but that will not affect our friendship out of the ring.”

While CJ was answering Beth took a sip of her coke, and check her next question. “The booking Committee has decided to give you little time for celebration, as your first defense is this week.”

I'll defend the belt whenever required.”

How do you feel about facing Larry Gowan for the third time in as match weeks?”

CJ rubs his chin for a moment as he thinks, but its clear by his facial expression hes a bit annoyed. “Its always a bit aggravating to face someone some many times in a row, but thats the business. I face who the booking committee tells me I have to face.” CJ adjust the designer sades on his face, before continuing. “I'll face Larry Gowan, Ryan Singer, Josh Johnson, Steve Pinex, Logan Wolfe, Or whoever I have to face as many times as I have to face them. There's not a person on the roster I don't believe I can beat.”

Beth looks a bit shocked at that last statement, but decides to stay on topic and avoid discussing it. “The last time you and Larry faced off one on one in a match you were upset by the underdog.”

CJ laughs to himself as he thinks back to that first match. “Larry is like one of those annoying nats that buzz around you head on a hot day. He just wouldn't die.” CJ stopped talking for a moment and notices a shocked expression on Beth's face. “Figuratively speaking” Her face changes from shocked to one of relief as CJ continues.Larry is a very odd individual. Have you ever watched one his promos? The guy is off his rocker, nonetheless he is talented.”

Beth just nods her head in agreement, but doesn't verbally answer the question CJ posed. “On several occasion you have talked about what you called Larry's lack of passion. Care to elaborate on that?”

CJ takes a few more sips of his coke before answering this question. “Despite his best efforts to hide it. I was able to see through his act and see the truth. Which is he does what ever suits him best at the time. When he started wrestling he didn't give a damn and had no desire to be anything in this business. He stumbles upon some meaningless championship gold, and then all of a sudden he decided he liked the way it looked around his waist.” CJ takes his gold and draped it over his shoulder. “By trying he was pushed up the latter and got his ass kicked by the true stars, and then acted like he was scared to wrestle of burned out or some crazy shit like that to get out of wrestling.”

He shows up in MWA and hes back to not giving a damn. He does what he has to to skate by with out being noticed to much. Despite his best attempts to go unnoticed, the booking committee gives him a match against me for a title. I think that was when he started trying to win. Combine that with my underestimation and he beat me. You see he does whatever he decides that will help him more at the time. Some times he cares, sometimes he doesn't.”

Beth nods, not in agreement, but she just nods as he finished his answer. “Before we end here, is there anything you would like to say to Larry before we go?”

CJ thinks for a few moments before he look directly into the camera. “In just forty eight hours you will get you another shot at this.” CJ pats the championship belt on his shoulder. “Unlike you I want to be the very best in this business and one day I will be considered that, but for now I'm the Millennium Champion. This championship is one that I will fight fight to defend with my life every single time I stand in the ring. You can say all you want about my ego, but the truth is if I have an ego that means I'm good.” CJ removes the sunglasses and stares in the camera again.

The fact that I have such a ego means I'm good at what I do, because any wrestler worth his salt has an ego. We can also tell when people are putting on a fake ego, kinda like you have been doing as of late. You see Larry Egos are kinda like a wrestlers lie detector test. The real egos stand out because they have what it takes to be the best, and the fake ones fade off and away, because you simple don't have what it takes. Your fifteen minutes of fame started when you beat me in a fluke a few weeks back. Now its time for you to fade away back to your mediocrity. “
